Health & Safety (Safety Signs & Signals) Regulation 1996. All general health & safety signs used in the workplace must now include a pictorial symbol categorised by shape, colour & graphic image. If your existing signs already confirm to BS 5378 there is no need for change, but as a reminder and training aid we show examples of these symbols from the European Directive 92/58 EEC upon our legislation is based.
